The vaginal flora has a population made up mainly of lactobacilli that together contribute to maintaining a balanced ecosystem, an adequate pH and correct lubrication of the vagina. They are also related to a protective role against the growth of potentially pathogenic bacteria.
This balance can be altered for different reasons (pregnancy, treatment with antibiotics, use of oral contraceptives...), causing the so-called "bacterial dysbiosis." When this occurs, the protective role of lactobacilli in the vaginal ecosystem decreases, favoring opportunistic infections.
To recover the balance of the vaginal flora, an excellent alternative is the use of selected lactobacilli orally, which can migrate from the intestinal lumen to the vaginal area, helping to relieve discomfort related to dysbiosis such as discomfort and itching, and reducing the probability of growth of undesirable microorganisms.
The combination of these lactobacilli with fructooligosaccharides favors their growth and survival in the vaginal flora.

DONNAplus Flora intimate is a symbiotic food supplement based on lactobacilli and fructooligosaccharides.
Due to different circumstances, the intimate area can be altered, presenting typical discomforts such as itching and discomfort. In many cases it is due to an imbalance in the vaginal microbiota.
Ingredients
Fructooligosaccharides, Coating agent (Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose), Corn starch; L. crispatus LBV88 (DSM 22566); L. rhamnosus LBV96 (DSM 22560); L. gasseri LBV150N (DSM 22583); L. jensenii LBV116 (DSM 22567), Anti-caking agents (Magnesium stearate, Silicon dioxide).
Each capsule contains ASTARTETM , a proprietary blend of strains (patent no. WO 2012/035028).
DONNAplus Flora intimate does not contain gluten, milk or lactose and is free of the most common allergens. Suitable for vegans.
Dosage
Take 2 capsules a day for at least a week with a water base, preferably half an hour before meals.
Each capsule contains more than 2,500 million lactobacilli, and the obtaining and production of this mixture of lactobacilli is unique and differential and is patented ((PAT. Pend:0123456789) property of Astarte).
This product contains live heat-sensitive lactobacilli. It is recommended, therefore, to avoid exposure to heat sources or temperature changes, keep it protected from light and, preferably, at temperatures below 25º.
